Graduation is an exciting time for students, faculty, and the staff of Daytona State. Graduation is the combination of a lot of hard work, attention to details, and many successful learning experiences. The first step in the graduation process is the completion of the Application for Graduation. In order for the college to know that all requirements are completed, the Application for Graduation form must be completed and approved by your academic advisor or department chair. Since students are in many stages of their academic programs, it is the student’s responsibility to notify us that all degree requirements are completed.
CLAS Requirements for AA and Bachelor degree students:
Florida state regulations requires students earning an AA or Bachelor degree to meet the CLAS requirements, as well as the foreign language requirements. The full policy is listed in the college catalog on the following page: http://www.daytonastate.edu/catalog/adm/grad_reqs_procedures.html

New students, and those returning after missing one or more major semesters, must use the requirements listed in the catalog upon their return.
